Luxury Mendoza

Explore two wineries in the central-western part of Mendoza. Matervini travels the long path that goes from traditional to unexplored areas, from young to old geologies and from alluvial to non-alluvial soil structures – like those of the Pre-cordillera. All along this road, wines with unique personalities emerge as different expressions of nature. At noon, visit Lagarde Winery for an exclusive and unique lunch at its 19^th-century manor for delicious wood-fired local cooking techniques and ingredients, all paired with Lagarde’s wines. All the dishes are prepared in front of our diners, set in the winery’s colonial patio, making it an exceptional experience that entertains all five senses. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.

Start with a 40-minute drive from the hotel to Cerro Arenal for a fantastic full-day walking tour, meeting the magic of its landscapes and nature. Cerro Arenal is located in the frontal cordillera of the Andes where you find the Cordon del Plata, one of the most privileged zones for mountaineering, given its location so close to the city and its various peaks between 3,000 and 6,000 meters. In the Cordon del Plata, you find a variety of local flora and fauna like pastures, perennial plants, guanacos, condors, foxes, and chinchillas, surrounded by cliffs and water streams. All followed by a tasty picnic prepared by the renowned exclusive chef of Cavas Wine Lodge.
