Designed by the owners of nearby Estancia Vik, the Playa Vik is a stunning modernist retreat on Mansa Beach. This contemporary complex consists of a central ‘Sculpture’ hall, a striking building made from double curved titanium with a 55-foot wide retractable glass wall that provides sweeping views of the ocean. It houses a lounge, dining room, library, and several guest rooms. The rest of the rooms are located in six smaller adjacent houses. Each house features a sitting room with a fireplace, patios, and private gardens. Guest rooms are tastefully decorated and packed with Uruguayan and international artwork, ranging in style from contemporary and trendy to ruggedly rustic or pop art chic.
