Full day Excursion to Colonia del Sacramento.

After breakfast visit the main historic points of this picturesque colonial city founded by Portugal in the 17th Century and disputed by the Spanish due to its strategic location by the river Río de la Plata, facing Buenos Aires in Argentina. It kept changing hands until Uruguay’s independence in the 19th Century. Visit the highlights of the Barrio Histórico (historic quarter), including the lighthouse, the main square, the Portuguese museum, the Spanish Museum, the Colonial Museum, the Yates Pier and the Bulls Square, a bullring in a now abandoned complex.

When the excursion is finished, transfer to the Radisson Montevideo Hotel, located at the central Independence Square for stunning views of Harbor Bay.

Full-day Montevideo & Wineries Tour visiting Montevideo's most important attractions: the historic center with its pedestrian streets, the town hall building and the cathedral, the Independence Square, the Legislative Palace, the traditional Prado neighborhood and the Rambla of Montevideo, which is the avenue that goes all along the coastline of Montevideo. The tour also includes visits to different residential areas of the city and to the famous Port Street Market “Mercado del Puerto”, where lunch is possible (lunch not included).

In the afternoon, a visit to the vineyards of Montevideo Department. Uruguay is the third most important wine county in South America and its wine heritage dates back to the first Spanish and Italian immigrants, some 250 years ago. Learn more about the development of Uruguayan wine with a tour to the Bouza and Juanico wineries, located just north from Montevideo. Fine wine tasting included.

In the morning private transfer to Punta del Este. Accommodation at Serena Hotel in front of La Mansa Beach. Unwind on a sun lounger by the outdoor pool or relax on the teak deck on the sand.

Full-day visit to José Ignacio

The small village of José Ignacio on the southern coast of Uruguay is one of the best-kept secrets in the country and arguably the chicest spot in Latin America, favored by jetsetters from around the world. This beachside gem can be found just outside of Punta del Este. Even the drive up to José Ignacio is amazing, boasting breathtaking views of resorts like La Barra, Manantiales, El Chorro, Balneario Buenos Aires, and Punta Piedras. Arriving in José Ignacio is always special; hear the sound of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean breaking onto the beach and feel the gentle sea breeze.  The tour will follow to Montoya Beach, a beautiful strand that stretches across José Ignacio with a relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place for sunbathing, chilling and enjoying a cool drink. Things are a little wilder at Bikini Beach, popular among the more active beach goers of José Ignacio. Just a few minutes from Bikini Beach, with its warm water and friendly people, lies the most amazing beach resort Manantiales’ Terrace. José Ignacio is the perfect getaway from the noisy city to relax and enjoy the sun!
