Casa Andina Clasic Colca

Explore Colca Canyon with a stay in one the individual stone ‘casitas’(chalets) with thatched or clay roofs.

There are 51 traditional rooms and newly constructed, slightly larger accommodations featuring wooden floors and clay roofs, near the patio and fountain.  All rooms have Queen or 2 Twin beds, a writing desk, chairs, free Wi-Fi, an open closet and private bathrooms. To deal with Colca’s high-altitude cold they are well-equipped with electric heaters, down comforters, extra blankets and hot-water bottles to warm the beds.  The hotel has an on-site planetarium with telescopes for stargazing as well as nightly shows in English and Spanish on the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere and Inca cosmology. Trained astronomy guides are on hand to help you find the Southern Cross and peer into the unpolluted night sky. The property’s restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner using products from the hotel’s own vegetable garden.  In the evening the restaurant showcases traditional folkdances and music. Guests can explore the Colca Canyon with a guided tour and view the stunning giant Andean condors flying high above the canyon.
