Day 01: Buenos Aires

Upon arrival at the airport, private transfer to Recoleta Grand Hotel.

Day 02: Buenos Aires

Half day classic city tour and Street Art

Enjoy a three-hour sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city that reflects the rich heritage of the numerous immigrants that shaped Argentina’s capital. The tour starts at the historic Plaza de Mayo square, the scene of influential political manifestations. The square is flanked by the Government House, better known as the "Pink House”; the Cabildo (the old City Hall) and the Cathedral. The tour continues towards San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Settled by immigrants, the neighborhood has preserved most of its architectonic heritage and boasts lovely cobblestone streets lined with colonial houses. Next on the tour are the modern, well-heeled district of Puerto Madero and Palermo neighborhood with its elegant residences set among large green spaces. Also, discover the exciting visual creations of graffiti artists. Street artists have a low profile, however, their language is so rich and complex, that many top fashion designer has invited them to work with them. During this tour you will not only explore the best graffiti art and big murals in Buenos Aires, but also the stories behind the artists. Enjoy another side of the city! Return to the hotel.

Day 03: Buenos Aires – El Calafate

At appropriate time transfer to Buenos Aires airport for your flight.

Upon arrival to El Calafate airport, transfer to Puerto Privado La Soledad, Bahía Tranquila (Paraje Punta

Bandera) at 5:30 pm. Check in will be on board, the crew is introduced and an informative talk is given as well as a welcome drink. Youe will navigate to Bahia Alemana/Puesto de Las Vacas, dinner and overnight.

Day 04: El Calafate (Glaciers National Park)

After breakfast the passengers will disembark to a hike. Once on board we will start to navigate

towards Canal Spegazzini, where you will have lunch facing the Spegazzini Glacier, then heading

towards Upsala Glacier where you will also view icebergs. Finally your new target is Bahía Toro at Seno

Mayo to spend your second night.

Day 05: El Calafate (Glaciers National Park)

At 9:00 a.m. the cruise will depart heading south. You will land again, to Visit Mayo and Black Glaciers. Later continue to navigate towards Perito Moreno Glacier, through Canal de los Témpanos. Expedition ends at Puerto Privado La Soledad, Bahía Tranquila, Paraje Punta Banderas. At 4:00 pm you will be landing and transferring the passengers back to El Calafate airport. 

Upon arrival, regular transfer to Los Cauquenes Resort Hotel.

Day 06: Ushuaia

Trails in the park tour with Train of the End of the World

Access to these trails is easy, so people of all ages are welcome to this experience. After setting out from the hotel we head towards the railway station of the End of the World Train. The one-hour historical train ride is optional. Once inside the National Park, we’ll visit some of its main attractions, such as Ensenada Bay, on the shore of the Beagle Channel, offering a view of the Andean mountain range and the Hoste and Navarino (Chile) islands, and the southernmost post office in the world. Then we’ll walk towards Roca Lake, also known as Acigami. We trek along the Sendero del Mirador (viewpoint trail) overlooking the Lapataia Bay as it is the southern terminus of the Pan-American Highway. The Sendero de la Baliza, or Beacon Trail, offers opportunities to watch Fuegian birds. On the return journey, we’ll ride on the hotel’s own vehicles.

Day 07: Ushuaia

Penguin Colony

We set sail from the wharf of Ushuaia city on board our Akawaia boat and sail around Alicia Island. We will spot sea birds such as the flying steamer duck, the upland goose, the kelp and gray gull and the Antarctic dove. We will head up to Martillo Island, where we’ll observe a colony of Magellanic penguins and, occasionally, some Papua penguins.

Day 08: Ushuaia

At appropriate time, regular transfer to the airport
